I am so behind on this blogging thing. I really, really want to keep a record of family life but sheesh, just finding time to turn on the washing machine so we can have clean pants can be challenging sometimes. Anyway, I appear to have started rabbiting on about being busy when what I was intending to do is write about a lovely afternoon in the park with the girls, my brother, my other brother's wife, my nephew and, eventually, my husband.
It was flipping freezing mind you. I know that compared to last year's big freeze and minus 14 temperatures and constant ice and three foot of snow in an afternoon type weather this is as mild as they come but I can assure you, that should you forget your gloves and hat you will indeed be a tad parky if you venture outside to get some fresh air.
The kids had a blast at the play park while I surrepticiously prodded my nephew in the hope of waking him in order that I could get a cuddle and rock him back to sleep (totally worked too, mwah ha ha)
It was hilarious watching them try to climb onto one part of the climbing frame. It was slightly too high for Charlotte to reach and pull herself up so...

Charlotte and Minnie hoisted Lexie up as far as they could then...

got out the way to avoid being kicked in the face before...

Lexie hoisted from above and Charlotte shoved from below. But alas...

She had to make do with the stairs and meeting Lexie half way, but...

It was all worth it to go on the slide (and why, yes I know that's not Charlotte at the back- that's Kira who is Ellis' other cousin)
Ah, nothing like a day at the park to blow away the cobwebs. And I know... how the heck do I have no photos of Kris, Selena, Ellis or Christopher- I really must try harder)
